Vinyl Laminated Scrim is a .0075 thick clear vinyl film laminated to a synthetic open-mesh fabric. Vinyl Laminated Scrim, sometimes referred to as nylon scrim reinforcing material is primarily used to reinforce hinges in looseleaf binder manufacturing due to its die-electric heat sealing ability. Our Vinyl Laminated Scrim may also be used as a hinge for board products, case bound books and other items.

    - VYS27: 27" (68.58 cm) wide put up on 400 yard rolls on 3" cores
    - VYS61627: 27" (68.58 cm) wide put up on 100 yard rolls on 3" cores
    - Custom slit widths are available

  • Colors: natural off-white

  • Manufacturing technique: die-electric heat sealing

  • Acceptable gluing to paper includes: Polyvinyl Acetate (PVA) and Hot Melt.
