The Merz Case Gauge is widely used by library binders for applications where quick and simple changeover between multiple size back liners in required. It allows precise alignment of cover board onto the cover material.
A simple twist of the center disc moved the center gauge arms to any size between 1/2 and 5 1/2". The 18" top guide is quickly adjustable for any turn-in between 1/4 and 1 1/4". The bases are precisely calibrated for fast change of top turn-in. Gauges can be locked in position by thumb screws for long runs of a single cover size.
