No single knife grade is best for all applications. Gane offers the largest selection of knife grades and brands: knives for trimmers, straight knives, bed knives, web knives and circular knives.
There are three grades of knives:
Hardedned Inlay Knives: increased durability and cost effectiveness for longer knives
High Speed Steel Inlay Knives: constructed of 18% tungsten, designed to provide three to five times longer life than standard knives
Tungsten Carbide Inlay Knives: Will last 10 to 20 times longer than standard knives if serviced and used properly.
When ordering paper knives, please specify make and model of the cutter and blade dimensions.
